The immigration law practice of Allan S. Lolly & Associates APC is unique among law practices in the United States. Ours may very well be the most
specialized law practice in the US. Larry Holmes started the practice in 1991 when he was hired for and obtained what we believe was the first fiancee visa
(K1 visa) ever obtained for a fiancee from the USSR. Soon after he obtained the first fiancee visa, the television publicity regarding "Russian Brides" began
in the U.S. and Larry, being the "Russian Fiancee Visa expert" after obtaining the grand total of one Russian fiancee visa and having appeared on ABC's
"Prime Time Live" television show, was contacted through word of mouth by eight more American men who wanted K1 visas for their Russian fiancees. After
successfully obtaining the ninth fiancee visa for immigration to the USA, Larry decided to specialize in the K1 visa and not practice any other type of
immigration law. By this time he was also engaged to a Russian lady who is today his wife.
The practice continued to grow every year. For the first several years it was mostly restricted to fiancees from the by then former USSR (such as Russia and the
Ukraine). In 1995, Larry researched using the Internet and expanded his practice to cover ALL COUNTRIES of the world.
|
By 1998, the practice grew to a point that he needed more help even with several secretaries plus his staff in Moscow. That is when he brought
his son, Christopher Holmes, into the firm as a legal assistant. Under Larry's direction, Chris became extremely
knowledgeable in the fiancee visa process and thus the two of them could work together with clients.

The fiancee practice continued to grow and by 2000 it was too much for Larry and Chris to handle. That is when Allan Lolly, a California licensed attorney, was
brought into the firm as a partner. Allan already had more than 10 years experience as trial attorney, including his work as a criminal prosecutor on matters
involving overseas business immigration fraud throughout Pacific Rim countries. He was also experienced in obtaining the fiancee visa for Asian fiancees.
Beginning August 2007, Larry assumed less duties and has had Allan taken over the practice with the support of Chris Holmes together with a experienced
and trained staff of 14 employees. Most employees are long-term employees, having been with the firm for more than 5 years, making this a very stable and
knowledgeable law practice. Each person in the office has a specialty; we work together as a team. Allan does not separate himself from staff, but instead sits
among staff to increase communication within the office to better serve clients.
To date, the firm of Allan S. Lolly & Associates APC, formally known as Holmes & Lolly, has successfully obtained over 10,000 K-1 visas and K-3 visas, and
currently obtains more than 1,400 fiancee visas and marriage visas per year for fiancees and spouses from ALL COUNTRIES. Allan very likely knows more about
marriage-based immigration than any other attorney in the U.S. Experience counts.
Allan S. Lolly holds his license in California. Lawrence R. Holmes holds his license in Pennsylvania. Both attorneys are licensed to practice Federal Immigration
Law in all 50 states. We are able to work with you right where you are located, whether in the U.S. or residing abroad. There is no need to come to our office in
person for us to be able to work together on your matter.
